Artist's Comments

I also refer to this piece as Man in the Mirror, and was inspired by Michael Jackson's death. He was many things to many people, and his personal issues often overshadowed his talent. I will leave the opinions about his character up to the individual. I'm just offering up a topic for discussion.

Acrylic on wood panel, 24" x 24"
(hand painted with minor airbrush highlights on zippers.)

Well, first of all, this piece is great and really awesome :) You´re really talented and have amazing skills :)

Then, if I may say something about how I felt about him - I love his songs. It was a man with great talent, and a man who left so soon.
All the gossip about him... I just can say, that I don´t know the truth, but I think that he couldn´t do anything of those things. He had a hard childhood even though it maybe wasn´t a real childhood.
But I ´m not here to jugde, just to say, that a lot of people (and myself among them) already miss him. A lot.

The truth is, he changed a lot and tried to help. Hope he´s on better place now, dancing his famous moonwalk among the angels. RIP.
