As part of Phantom City Creative's Vincent Price tribute poster series, I pay homage to William Castle’s famous shocker House on Haunted Hill (1959).

I'll be honest, at first this didn't grab me. After the initial "Ooh, Vincent Price, I love Vincent Price" I was ready to move on. But there was something that kept me from looking away from it. It's the color composition I decided, it's eye catching and the contrast keeps you engaged. Nice trick. But no there's more than that. The longer I look at it the more I appreciate it. It's all contrast, the smooth flowing linework for Annabelle Lauren, the harsher lines for Vincent, the way the eye is drawn in different directions for either figure.
