Here's my new Famous Monsters cover for issue #255 (out in April).
Lord Voldemort is pissed.

16" x 20" acrylic on wood panel

I wasn't a real Harry Potter fan before this gig, but I watched the last 4 movies back to back, and thought "Man, these are pretty good, and scary to boot!" Not bad for a "kids" movie. Actually had me itching to see the last one coming out soon.

I wanted my version of Lord V to be more sinister, more monstrous. Something suitable for Famous Monsters of Filmland.

Voldemort is pissed that Harry didn't go to specsavers! hehe.
The colours are just amazing! The red and blue really work well together and I never think I've seen Voldy look so terrifying.

That is awesome! Both this pic, and the fact that Famous Monsters is still being published. The only nitpick I have is that you could have made Voldy's eyes red like in the books.

This is frickin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He really does need to look as angry as you've made him usually cos the films were a bit of a let down he was too soft bravo.
